I bet from a passer-by's perspective I probably looked pretty funny stalking around a field... creeping up and pouncing on what appears from a distance to be nothing... lol!

That's the way I do it too!! Glad I'm not the only person in the world getting funny looks from the neighbours.

Ladybugs are toxic, too. Some/most of the beetles have a very hard outer wing cover that can be difficult to digest...potential for impaction issues.
