I am not sure about previous sheds, but I can say that my huge gravid eastern shed once right after I caught her, has since started showing that she is gravid, well she hasn't shed again, but I do know that garters should shed once when they are really fat and about to have babies, and after that shed the babies will usually arrive within the week.

yeah..... she shead once b4 but it was bc she had scale rot........ and there is really no reason for her to shed again unless she is gravid......... but it may just be my excitement playing w/ my eyes........ but we'll know for sure thet she's going into a shed when she hits the blue stage...... i just CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!
