I like indigo too.
I'll get to use Azul on the next blue snake I get (I'd like to get het a mate).
Indigo was the Fencing Master looking for the 6 fingered man. (You killed my father, prepare to die!) Also had a drinking problem

Her temperament is a lot like Whizzie's, who got that names because she would whizz (shoot actually) off one's hand at random times.
Today was the first time I took Indigo out and she mellows okay, after a bit of handling.
She' very beautiful - her lateral stripes bright turquoise and he dorsal stripe olive coloured. I hope I get some pictures soon. She's not mellow enough to just set her down without enclosure. I'll have to set something up.

Re: snake news from my house

definitely far from snake news - not so far from my house

In terms of snake news:

I am contemplating Xenogrophis vittatus, but then I need to revise my entire wish list (I ought to anyway).

This weeks project:
getting the ribbon snake to take a pinkie.

Re: snake news from my house

Hi Rhea,
I noticed them on sale at Kingsnake, below, for $25 each or 5 for $115. They've been on sale for quite a while and have come down from $35 each.
Rick

kingsnake.com Classifieds

P.S. I haven't taken a serious look into it, but I'm certain that most keelbacks are venomous, and I'm almost postitive that Xenochrophis vittatus (being a keelback) also has a venom. It may be as mild as the venom from garter snakes... I don't know, but it's worth checking before buying. Try: Venomdoc Forums :: Index
