I've been looking too! I don't understand why these snakes aren't on the market. Does anybody know why?
I'm trying to catch one so if anybody has any tips on how to find them, I'd be thrilled.
Are the recently posted photos from this year? Is it not too early to start looking for them?

They seem to hang out same place as garters, under rocks, around old stone foundations, rock walls etc. Same as garters, makes sense cus garters are on the menu . The pix were from last week so they should be out and about.

Now that takes some perseverance! Thanks to everyone for their kind words.
Well it is the 4th of May and the end of the official “snake baiting season”, so I guess I’ll close up shop for now. Little disappointed this year, not many garters, and I kind of hated to move my long time resident milk snake, but it is for the best. I’ll keep looking around the pool this summer, and if I find anything interesting I will post. Bye for now hope to see y’all next March.
