Awww that's cute. I like the way he looks when he's gulping down the food!
Youtubes processing makes my videos lower quality than they really are. When I'm converting them to a different type and playing them they're actually watchable... On youtube, they look like a big messy blur.

    Re: Concinnusman's Garters

Umm... no, not really. Most of the videos I upload to youtube come out pretty much like the original if I convert it to MP4 and high enough bitrate before I upload. For some reason this one came out a bit dark is all.

"The video frame-rate should be the same as the original where possible - up-sampling from a 24fps original can cause judder artifacts for example. For film sources a 24 fps or 25 fps progressive master yields the best results while videos that have had a re-sampling transfer process applied - such as Telecine pulldown - often result in a lower quality video."

And if you don't understand any of that, (don't worry, I'm not belittling you, it's just that it took me years to understand) then that could be the problem.

If you're having trouble with your uploaded videos maybe this link will help:

Some of it I don't understand, but my meds are making me tired. but when I convert them I keep everything the same except for the file type. But oh well, it could just be that my camera isn't that good with video :P but it's all I have. I cant afford anything else.

No matter what you have, it shouldn't come out looking worse that it was originally but that's not really a matter for discussing here. No matter, we have better things to talk about.

Don't forget about Wednesday. Your new friends will be there by 3pm.

Smaller than my smallest newborn concinnus. Seriously! but still, he's growing and has a never ending appetite like a radix should. Thanks to Steve and his advice that I pull the skin off backwards, we saved him from nearly dying due to a retained shed.(failure to shed) He's doing great once again and seems back to his hungry self.

I must note that I am saying "he" but it is my opinion that this is a female.

At least the name won't be so awkward once confirmed female.

Damn youtube and their "processing". The video came out much darker than it was originally.

And here is Amy once again. Been a while since I showed HIM eating. He's grown quite a bit. He was 9.7 inches back in Jan '10. He's now 19 inches. Awesome snake. I really enjoy having him.

    Re: Concinnusman's Garters

Snakey sometimes eats the worms I get for Mama, and they're so big they not only crawl out of his mouth, his eyes pop out a bit too. He seems so tame compared to mine, they don't like sitting in the box patiently for food. Mama would, but Snakey would slither out. He never stops moving around. Its hard to look him over, like when I'm trying to see if somethings wrong, he keeps going, and going and going... The only time he's ever really stopped and relaxed on me was yesterday when I was giving him a little neck massage. He sat there for a good 5 minutes, surprised me a lot. he usually is to "manly" to get loving like Mama gets

    Re: Concinnusman's Garters

I'm really fond of northwestern girl. When I found her she didn't flee. I simply picked her up and she didn't fuss one bit. Still just as tame as can be and doesn't mind being handled one bit. She's also very inquisitive and "smart" and I really like that in a snake. When I feed her night crawlers the first thing I do is cut off the head and feed that to her. Then I cut the rest in half and feed her that. Seems to solve the crawling back out issue.

    Re: Concinnusman's Garters

Yeah, Mama's a lot stronger and wont eat cut up night crawlers so I have a dish of whole big night crawlers for her, and cut up for Snakey. When I look away, though, Snakey steals Mama's worms and gobbles it down. When I look back in the box he's you just the tail end of the worm in his mouth. I should probably feed them separately... But either one of them freak out if ones left alone not getting any food while the other stuffs his face My snakes are such spoiled brats.

Wow they are beautiful, I really like the normal in that photo!
That's a three stripe and a normal correct?
Were they from two separate litters?
Sorry I'm sure you posted this info somewhere but I have not come across it.
