T. radix Ranch
Taming The Beasts.
I have two adult female radixes that have attitude problems. One is a very, very aggressive eater and the other freaks out when you hold her. Both of these traits are unacceptable her on the Ranch.
A disiplinary meeting was held with both snakes present.
At the direction of the Disipinary Board(me) both snake will be housed in the big female enclosure with the hopes that their attitudes will change.
So, 24 hours ago I placed both females in the other enclosure.
What a difference 24 hours and good role-modeling makes. Both girls came out to me today and behaved like real ladies.

I have radix that was just given to me that is not a lady at all. She is so aggresive that she strikes at the glass tank she is in you walk by. She could use your lady method training LOL

I have noticed that different "room mates" will sometimes affect a snake's attitude

Maybe my little Snap could use some of that She's in with more calm snakes but she's still extremely skittish and I cant hold her away from her tank. You'd think she'd realize I'm not going to hurt her since she eats out of my hand. Oh well, I just have some crazy little snakes

Haha nicely done Steve.
I've also noticed that roomates seem to make for more calm captives.

Gorgeous .... groups definately have a calming effect. My 'Spazz' hardly ever lives up to his name anymore .... and he was settled by the same approach.

Those are some pretty little ladies
I wish Snap would calm down like that, she's in the enclosure with Runt, Tiny and Ember and they are all really tame. Runt's still a little skittish, though, if you touch her unexpectedly or move quickly where she can see you. Snap is fine until you pick her up, she acts as if I were trying to kill her. What a weird snake All of the other snakes know I wouldn't ever hurt them for any reason.
