snakes found
Couple stories. First, I went to my usual snake catching spot and saw about 5 or 6 males garters basking. I hand caught some tadpoles and threw them at the snakes. After a minute or so one of the snakes ate it. I repeated that a few times, it was pretty cool to see.
Then my friend was telling me today that she saw about 20 baby garters coming out of a stone wall. So I went to this location, and it was later in the day so the sun wasnt strong so we only saw 3, but they are about 5 inches long and we kept 2.
