Here is what I have come up with for shipping the babies. I'll mist the care fresh before they get snuggled in. Then the box will be wrapped in brown paper, and marked fragile. How's it look?

Dampening the carefresh will make it heavy, the package will get handled a lot in transit causing the heavy carefresh to bash on the babies. I use a paper napkin, lightly misted. It leaves little crevices for the snakes to move around, but no heavy lumps to bash them up in transit. Other than that, the rest of it looks OK.

So ditch the care fresh and just use paper towel?

Everyone does! All my snakes had paper towels.
