I know you like my Maritimes, so here is one more (I think). She (pretty sure it's a girl) is living under the same plywood sheet as the one above. She is near perfect, but really hard to get a decent photo (she was really squirmy, and would not sit for a portrait) Pretty much solid brown with a faint stripe, tan underbelly. Sorry about the dirty hands, been working on farm machinery all day, just took a “snake break” when I got home.

Couple of things happened today: Good- I spotted a really, really nice little garter under the solar heater, one of the nicest yet. Couldn’t’ catch it. Not so good- found 2 sheds, one near the pool (30 inch+) the other in the sunroom, was kind of excited at first then realized they were milksnake. Not good for my garters!
Finally I tried to get a good photo of my big gravid eastern, she is a really nice snake, will hate to let her go. ![]()
