    Stub/ near shed

    Well this will be to show a before and after picture of jades tail, now stub not much came off really but just so you guys can see also how she is dulling.

    Just make sure she gets nice and warm after her adventure! She seems to like the snow . Her tail looks good...looks like it came off pretty clean from what I can see in the pics. Still a good idea to use the warm, wet cloth on the area after her shed to make sure she doesn't retain any shed there. Her dulling color looks very typical of an impending shed...you just have to be patient...like Chris said...garters can show dulling for weeks before the actual shedding occurs. You will know it's approaching when her eyes cloud over.

    I would limit that snow time to a very bare minimum.
    Not sure what affect a quick chill would have of eating or health.
    Just a thought.
    Better to play it safe.

    Oh no I only had her there for about a minute then put her right back in but thanks for your concern

    I will be sure to give her a bath once I see her eyes get cloudy until then Let me just wait !

    When the eyes go cloudy is only the beginning of the shed process.
    A warm bath would serve better after the eyes go back to normal.
    Snakes normally shed within a few day of the eyes clearing up.
