new snake
I recently caught a baby snake in my backyard, and I'm not sure what type it is. I think it might be either a garter or queen snake. I live a suburb of Atl, Georgia with a small creek behind my house. I got a couple pictures of it and any help with the identification of it would be appreciated. also, any diet and enclosure information would be welcome.

Re: new snake
To be honest, I'm not convinced that it is a Garter Snake. It certainly isn't a Queen Snake. I'm thinking more one of the Brown Snake (Storeria dekayi) sub-species...maybe victa or other southern types. My guess is that it's Storeria dekayi wrightorum. It's certainly natricine, so the captive requirements should be similar to that of a Garter. I don't usually 'Google' but this one has got me curious!!
