[ask] juvie cali king wont stop vomitting
i got a juvie cali king... it's probably 8 mo... and its size is as big as a baby snake.. i try feeding him a pinki, and he ate it... 2 days after it, it vomits.. but i'm not quitting.. the day after it, i try feeding him another piny.. and he ate it again!.. two days after it, it vomitted again.. i donno wat to do.. i think that it doesnt grow bigger because it keeps vomitting.. wat is the effect of snakes keep vomitting? how to prevent it?

Hi Ken, here's my article about vomiting:
http://www.thamnophis.com/caresheets...=Regurgitation Basically check all enclosure conditions ( especially temperature ). But if that's ok, I'd see a vet. That's because it's a juvenile snake and it's shown to do it regurarly.

Ken, I agree with Hans. Very first thing would be to check your temps. I recommend 82 to 85 degrees F. for your King snake to properly digest its food.
