Re: Post Breeders
There aren't too many garter breeders in the U.S.
I have a friend here in Utah that works with western garter snake species... here's a link to his site...ThamnophisWest.com |

Re: Post Breeders
Hi, I read a post about the site of Scott Feltzer. About a year ago I visited that site and I can't find it again. I have tried search engines with no luck. Is there anyone that has the actual web address for the site??
Thanks for the help. |

Re: Post Breeders
sssssnakeluvr (or however you sell it) the site you posted says hypermelanistic. Isn't it hypomelanistic? Is it different?

Re: Post Breeders
Here's Scott's site, he created a new one.,.....
Scott Felzer's Garter Snakes, specializing in aberrant garters The hypermelanistic wandering are mostly black...melanistics are generally totally black, or have a white patch under the chin. Hypers have varying amounts of black. I should have these up to breeding size by next winter (and have my permit since they are native to Utah....) |

Re: Post Breeders
Thank you for the links to the site I asked about. I had my "Sneaky Snake", A beautiful pet Garter for 5 years and sadly she died almost 3 years ago. But now I am ready to have another and I want to get my new pet from a reputable breeder. Any other suggestions that you all may have are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Post Breeders
Speaking of reptile shows, does anybody know of any coming up in the Great Plains area? Somebody mentioned one in Des Moines in another thread but is there a calendar somewhere that I can check for other shows?
