Date for World Meeting?

So, it would seem we need another poll in order to agree on a suitable month for our 2009 World meeting. If you're planning on coming, please vote.

sid, why do you think june? what is your thoughts behind it?
i was thinking July because it will be easier from work

I know that the field herping trip is less important than the opportunity for us to meet fellow members.......but some of us will be travelling half way around the globe for this event, it would be nice to have the opportunity to see Garters (and other herps) in the wild. For many that would be a whole new experience. I think we should keep this in mind when choosing our date, and try to pick a month when we are likely to be rewarded for our efforts. I would ask those of us who are more local to the venue to consider the members who will be making significant plans and financial outlay in order to make this event a success.

My choice was only on personal preference. Luckily, I can schedule my vacation weeks any time that I like. So, with five weeks per year any time will work for me that's best suited for everyone. Both months have good herping.

the only reason i was asking was so we knew if it was personal preference or good herping time.

It would have to be late june or july for me and i thinkt hat would work for most students

It would have to be July or August for me.
School starts in September and ends in June, so it would have to be on the summer vacation.
