Post Count?

I run a board like this myself for Mom's. But we don't have it set up the same. I was just wondering if the post count starts to show after the first thread is viewed by moderater? I posted in the welcome forum, and it needs to be approved first. But am able to post in other forums without my post count going up.

Is that what that means? My first post needs to be approved first?

Hi Pinky,

Welcome to the forum. In order to keep spam out of the forum, all new members posts are put into a queue to be moderated and posts do not count till they are approved. Which is why your posts count showed 0 even after you posted a couple messages.

It is a simple solution, but it does keep the spam posts from being seen.

I totally understand. I'm apart of other boards, and like I mentioned run one myself (although it's private so we don't have this problem lol) but I know how bad the spam can get. I think it's a great idea!
