Hi Guys,
![]() As some of you will already know, I start a new job on Monday 7th July. There is an initial 12 week period of training that I must go through, some of which may be local, but most of it will take me away from home and away from 'easy' internet access. There will be a two week period (when I go to Cork in Southern Ireland) when I won't get home at all. Obviously, I'll try to get access to the forum in the evenings through local libraries, internet cafes etc. but inevitably there will be periods of absence when I just can't get on line. This is temporary! I'm not going anywhere! Once my 12 weeks is complete normal service will be resumed. Also (I just found out) two weeks into my new employment there is a statutory two week holiday! So I'll be around for that fortnight. Anyway, the point is I won't be able to check the forum as much as I usually do, so I've spoken to our leader, Boots (Jason), and asked him to appoint another Moderator, and he has agreed to this. I have already made my recommendations as to who I think would serve our forum well, but of course that decision is his, not mine, so I won't name anyone at this point. Whoever Jason chooses, I hope you will all welcome them and help them to 'ease into' the role. Rest assured that the person chosen will love this forum and it's members as much as I do. As I say, I'm not leaving or anything like that, in fact, if I find good local internet access while I'm training, you might not even notice the difference! I just wanted to keep you all informed, so you know what's going on. ![]()

James
I hope you'll love your job and we'll see you back soon oh and if you have the time while you're in Cork, go see Cashel (Carraig Phadraig) - it's not that far and kind of cool there won't be any snakes, because apparently Saint Patrick thought they were evil and banned them from Ireland
