August 2007 Photo Contest.

The theme for this month's contest, chosen by GarterGuy, will be "Garters on the Rocks". So basically a picture of a garter, wild or captive with at least the front half of it's body on rocks. The rules are as follows:-

1) Each participant is allowed only one entry.
2) The competition will remain open to new entries for the first three weeks of August, the final week being set aside for voting.
3) Pictures must be related to Garter or Ribbon snakes and must be within the theme set by last month's winner in order to be eligible.
4) The winner may choose the theme for the September competition, but may not participate in it.
5) It is understood that the winner gives his or her permission for their winning photograph to be posted on the portal page, in the "voting poll" and in the "caption contest", unless otherwise stated beforehand.

It seems we have no "example" picture this month, but I think the topic is clear enough. Let's see some quality photos! Good luck guys!
