October 2007 Photo Contest.

The theme for this months' contest.chosen by zooplan will be "Garter Variations", to illustrate the wide variety of colour and pattern in Thamnophis species, whether naturally occuring or specially bred 'morphs'. The rules are as follows:-

1) Each participant is allowed only one entry.
2) The competition will remain open for new entries for the first three weeks of October, the final week being set aside for voting.
3) Pictures must be related to Garter or Ribbon snakes and must be within the theme set by last months' winner in order to be eligible.
4) The winner may choose the theme for the November competition, but may not participate in it.
5) It is understood that the winner gives his or her permission for their winning photo to be posted on the portal page, in the voting poll and in the caption contest, unless otherwise stated beforehand.

I think Udo has chosen a good topic this month, this is a theme we can all participate in, so we should see loads of entries this month. Good luck guys.
