January 2008 Photo Contest.

The theme for this month's contest, chosen by anji1971, will be "Snakes in the Grass". Which will basically be pictures of our snakes coiled in their vegetation etc.
The rules are as follows;

1) Each participant is allowed only one entry.
2) The competition will remain open for the first three weeks of January, the final week being set aside for voting.
3) Pictures must be related to Garter and Ribbon Snakes and must be within the theme set by last month's winner in order to be eligible.
4) The winner may choose the theme for the February '08 competition, but may not participate in it.
5) It is understood that the winner gives his or her permission for their winning entry to be posted on the portal page, unless otherwise stated beforehand.

Here's an example of the type of photo that would be eligible this month.
