May 2008 Photo Contest
The theme for this month's contest, chosen by "GGarter" will be "Garters Swimming", The rules are as follows;
1) Each participant is allowed only one entry. 2) The competition will remain open for the first three weeks of May, the final week being set aside for voting. 3) Pictures must be related to Garter and Ribbon Snakes and must be within the theme set by last month's winner in order to be eligible. 4) The winner may choose the theme for the June '08 competition, but may not participate in it. 5) It is understood that the winner gives his or her permission for their winning entry to be posted on the portal page, unless otherwise stated beforehand. There is no sample photo this month, but I'm sure you get the idea!

My original idea was to put a little layer of water in the bad tub and let all the new born concinnus 'swim' in that.... but I really don't have the time and fut at the moment to do so. So I'm going to entry with an old picture.
It's not exactly 'swimming', but I hope it counts. Thamnophis hammondii hammondii in his water bowl.
