Geez I must have angered a bunch of you or something. I can't believe I got so pathetically few votes in both the photo and caption contest. Even if the entries weren't mine, I thought they were great. I honestly thought my photo was the best one and fit the theme best too. Sometimes the results of the voting really puzzles me. You guys always keep me guessing.

That's life. Everybody has their own opinion of what makes a good picture. Sometimes it's the quality, sometimes it's the subject and sometimes it's (presumably) the poster. I made the decision a long time ago to not tell people on what merits they should judge the entries.

I still say it had more to do with who posted it.

Not that it was a bad photo.

But you got this all wrong. It's "You take what you get and if it's not what you expected or wanted, you then throw a fit"

Oh hey, I was just thinking what a challenge this theme is going to be for me. I hardly ever see my snakes drink and when I do, it's usually after I feed them and I have fish slime all over my hands. Kinda hard to take a photo. And then I saw that first entry. Very, very clever!
