Re: need some advice....
thank you all..... but i feel a little guilty now.... that i don't help her yet....
I made the hard decision to operate her when she was dead.... and she was full with very hard bullits..... so sad for her.... but i really didnt know what to do..... she had the balls in her body for a long time, but the last week they grow double!!! i had sent some piv\ctures to a friend, who is almost a vet... (study) he told me it is much to late to make a good operation to save her.... and that it cost a lot of money, while the chance was very big that she didn't make it good..... after the operation.... for now ive learn, that when i have this another time,i have to handle very quick, because this is very sad,for her.... and for my beautifull collection....

Re: need some advice....
I think you had a unique problem there, Kuno, and no-one could really tell you what to do. This is not something seen very often, unless I'm wrong. So you could not have possibly known how to help her. I think even the vets would have been guessing at how to treat her, and like your friend said, she easily could have died in surgery.
You said she was still moving and eating, right, so hopefully she was not in much pain and her body systems just shut down... and she passed peacefully. Don't blame yourself... |

Re: need some advice....
I read a story once about a Canadian collector who had a snake with the same problem. They operated but it was not successful. Apparently it is a pretty rare thing, and the outcome is not usually good, so I don't know if there really was anything that could have been done. Just one of those sad things.........
