Re: Hi Im from western USA
reply, no we have adders, grass snakes, and very rare is the smooth snake...but I have looked and looked and still not seen one in the wild...
(very careful not to disturb obviosly...but really want to see in natual habitat.... The only wild snakes I have seen are the escalapean snake (not sure of spelling) which although is not native is abundunt in Colwyn bay, especially in the mountains where I used to work. |

Re: Hi Im from western USA
If you are looking for adult snakes, it might be easier to check out the classifieds, as most pet stores want young snakes since they are easier to sell. Better yet, look for a reptile rescue, and let the owner know you are willing to take adult garters.

Re: Hi Im from western USA
Thanks I will start doing looking that way, but first I have to make sure I have enough room to house more snakes, I have just reached 7 snakes last night and I have to upgrade on the cages.
