Re: Hello there!

Welcome to thamnophis.com, Poets. Those radix have beautiful heads.

"Boots" is the administrator of this excellent forum. I bet if you sent him a private message or an e-mail, he could change the flag under your screen name to show that you're from the Netherlands.

Re: Hello there!

Well, that's a radix as well, Sjoerd. But not as orange as ours. The colours of radix is very different.
For example we also have a dougther of this big female of 3 years old, and her stripe is also not very orange. And her bodycolour is almost grey-blue, like a sirtalis florida blue.

Re: Hello there!

Thank you for posting these great pictures of my snakes mother Sabine en Gijs.. I was feeding her a few days ago, but she wouldt eat from het bowl... When I picked her up she suddenly lashed out at the fish and started eating het meal while on my hand! That was very cool to look at... is she used to being fed by hand? That would explain the behaviour

Re: Hello there!

Hi Poets, no she's never fed by hand. I feed almost all our snakes like this.
They're used to it and it's easy, but I always have to be aware that they are not eating eachother.
