obviously, I'm new. if anyone here is experienced and looks at these forums to help, please... post any tips you have to my soon-to-be Garter snake. (for the record, I think it might be Eastern Garter Snake that I'm getting.
)

Welcome to the forum, Frankie. The general care sheet the James gave you the link to has great information on housing , feeding and husbandry. I'm sure you'll find it very helpful. If there are other questions, post them and we will be happy to help.
