Hello!
Hi. My name is Dean Arnold and I'm a colubrid enthusiast who is just getting into garter snakes. I'm primarily a corn snake breeder, but I also work with other rat snakes, king snakes, milk snakes, rosy boas, and a couple of dwarf BCIs. I have around 75 snakes in my collection (not including a couple dozen hatchlings that I still haven't sold from this year's breeding efforts).
I've been catching and releasing garter snakes for over 30 years, but I've never kept any long-term. That has changed with my purchase of 1.1 '07 Eastern black necked garters. I've loved them since I first saw photos of them several years ago, so I'm excited at the prospect of working with these snakes. I'm active on a couple of other herp forums, and I'm a moderator on cornsnakes.com. I look forward to participating here. ![]() Here are the new beauties, Garth and Gretchen: |
