I managed to miss this forum until today. I'm definately still new.
I am a mother of four teenagers (please feel sorry for me) Just kidding, I love them very much, they're good kids, 3 girls and my son is the baby @13yrs. My 15 yr old daughter & I are the snake enthusiasts. We catch, feed, and release hundreds of snakes a year, also catch frogs, salamanders, newts, lizards, fish, tadpoles, etc. I have been doing this since I was a kid, and never outgrew it. We have two 55 gallon tank set-ups, two 20 gallon, and three 10 gallon set-ups, and that does not include the "Hamster Habit-trail" the mice live in. I also raise adorable Shih-Tzu puppies as another hobby/passon, and my daughter raises T-Cup Chihuahuas. We also enjoy horseback riding and have a zillion other pets, (cats, dogs, ducks, etc) thus the "zoo" in Suzoo.I have REALLY enjoyed this site and talking with all of you!!! You people are GREAT! ![]() |

Re: Hi ya
Hi Sue,
Thanks for the intro. It's always great to learn a bit more about the people on the forum, but it feels like you've been here longer than you have (not a bad thing). We all seem to have a common goal of learning as much as we can, and we have a great group of people who are willing to help one another. You will, and do, fit in perfectly . Regards,Rick P.S. With ducks, horses, cats, dogs, etc. you must live on a farm. How many acres do you have, and are there any ponds or creeks nearby? Last edited by Cazador : 01-17-2007 at 12:29 AM. |

Re: Hi ya
Thank you Rick,
And we only have 5 acres, but we have horses at my friend's house who has 67 acres. And, yes, I am very fortunate to have a pond just across the street and another just down the road from me, and in my area, there are tons of good creeks! I even have a 55 gallon aquarium of native wild caught fish. Goliath a Largemouth Bass, a huge Bluegill named Parana, several un-named Sunfish, and a few Black Bullhead Catfish, all caught in nearby creeks. I used to live in the city, so for me, this is paradice! |
