First Molt

Hi Everyone!

I only have one garter, and it's my first snake. I was traveling a lot for my job this month, but got a good gift. After spending 3 days in Denver, I returned home to LA to find:

I have a couple saved, mainly from my huge melanistic eastern...I quit saving them years ago.....would have been able to fill a large garbage bag!!!!

lol i put all of mine in a cardboard box...... they came in handy when trying to remember when and where scale rot appeared..... maybe they'll help again!!!!

I've never thought about keeping The Boys' sheds! I'll have to think about that. Maybe I could make some kind of artsy-fartsy wall-thingy outta them...

I save them only long enough to make sure the kids see them. Then they're gone.
But I'm not really a "saver" of anything.
I'm not very sentimental, I guess.........

Gertie, I bag them individually in ziploc bags with the name and date. It's just cool to go back and see how much each snake grew between sheds. :-)

Oh, Lori! What a neat idea! Yeah! That would tell me how they have/are grown/growing! Very cool!
