Hello! I was surfing and found this page. I have A few Garter Snakes of my own 2ft Male red sided and one female 9in Red sided Garter.

What kind do you have?

Welcome to the forum. I keep Oregon red spotted garters, and last year I bought a few Northwesterns. They're awesome little snakes!

Welcome to the forum Garter Girl. I have one pair of young Oregon Red-spotted and over a dozen Easterns.

Check out the photo gallery and have a look at all the different Garters posted by the members. Don't forget to post yours, we do enjoy pics.

Might as well mention mine. A couple of T. sirtalis: one red-sided and one possible red-sided (or eastern, or red-sided/eastern mix).

And I'm trying to communicate with an importer about getting me a Santa Cruz couple.

well, let's see if t here's room for my list, 11 easterns (2 normals, 1 florida blue, 1 poss het albino/het melanistic, and one melanistic, 2 orange flames, 2 yellows, 2 silvers), 6 red sideds (1 orange, 1 anerythristic, 2 poss het albino, 1 het albino), 4 plains (1 nebraska albino, 1 christmas albino, 1 nebraska snow, one red x snow), 4 oregon red spots (2 high red),1 valley garter, 1 western terrestrial, 3 hypermelanistic wanderings, and a bunch of wanderings. I think I got them all....
