my name is josh
hey as u no my name is josh i am 13 and i am happy to find a place to talk about garter snakes because when i try to talk about them to my friends the say there lame and talk about the bigger snakes and what stunts they did with them on one of the jackass shows or movies lol well hi!!!!!

Well Josh, welcome to a place of sanity and like-minded individuals. I commend you for your excellent taste in snakes...Garters may be small but they are by far (in my opinion) the most interesting and rewarding of snake species to keep in captivity.

Hey Josh,
Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you're able to think for yourself and not just follow the herd, so to speak. This can be a difficult thing for a young teenager to do, but that level of independence and decision making will serve you well. Hey, I dont realy see why your friends say garters are lame
 . They are by far the most inquisitive snakes I have seen and they have bags of personality. Welcome to the forums.
