New to here and garter snakes

Hello,

After waiting 23 years from the point I held my first snake at the tender age of nine, I am now the proud owner of an albino chequered garter. We have named him Binky. My mother has threatened to stop visiting. My bestfriend's children now think I'm unbelievably cool. Who knew one little guy could do so much!!

Having never kept any snake before, I may well chew your ears off for info and will, no doubt, ask really stupid questions which will lead you to question my sanity as well as my intelligence... there is no need to question either... as I lack both.
