Hi, I'm New Here!
Hello! New Here! And to Snakes!!
Hey everyone, my name is Kylie, I'm 25 from Orange County NY! I have recently become the owner of my first snake! She is a young checkered garter snake! I am super excited about her, I've always wanted a snake! I came on here to learn as much as I can about her, and give her the absolute best home possible! Looking forward to meeting everyone on here!

Welcome to the best forum for garter owners everywhere.
Checkereds are great (in case you haven't picked up the scientific name for the checkereds... the top line of my signature is a clue to why I like checkereds). Good choice.

Welcome to the forum! Beautiful little checkered you got there... Garters snakes are a WAY better choice (Personal opinion here) Then ball pythons, much more active n social, which I'm sure you'll learn quickly
