Every time I post up pictures, it comes up as a little icon version of the picture that you have to click on to pull it up in full screen. Is there anyway that I can have it display in full size in the post? I noticed that with some people, it comes up as an icon, and with others, it comes up full size. How can I do this?

How are you uploading your photos and to where? I also use photobucket from time to time.

If they are files from your computer, upload them as you have been... Click on 'Insert Image' pick your photo n upload it. It will show up like ...

7765

Is that the size your seeing? There is a simple fix. Simply double click on it, it will come up with an Image settings box. All I use it for is to change from thumbnail to large. I don't bother with the other things.

It's called "hotlinking". You can link to a photo on another website or picture hosting sight and it will show here in full size but you can also hotlink to images you attached as thumbnails. You just place the full sized URL between image codes and post it. Just keep in mind that once you hotlink it, if the image is moved or renamed, the hotlink won't work anymore so don't go moving it or deleting it after you've hotlinked it. Many people using photobucket make that mistake. Doesn't much matter where the photo is actually located as long as you have the right URL. For example, I just clicked the thumbnail in the post above, then copied the URL of the full sized image and hotlinked it here:

The "insert image" button is supposed to add the image codes for you, but that hasn't worked for me in months so I have to type them in manually. Anyway, this doesn't work out so well if your image is huge. I use 640X480 usually.

Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+to+hotlink+images+in+forums)

Got pic posting problems here also. I would do as always, "insert image", and upload from my computer but nothing happens. Can't start a new thread either. When I try to do that the right side of the screen goes to infinity, almost with no option to "post quick reply".

I have an idea. Can you tell me the properties of the photo you are trying to upload?(Right mouse click on the photo and choose "properties")

Steve, if you're talking to me, it's a JPG 1.03 MB. I can upload to my albums, just not to the threads.

Left mouse click the photo. It should take you to that screen.
