It's indeed very useful, I've been using it a lot and not just to measure snakes, but also lizards, fish, animal tracks, various objects etc.

I knew about this before but couldn't find the site. The only problem is trying to take a good enough pic of your snake. It always is different. Like last month, it was roughly .2 inches longer according to it. But that is my fault

I have it too but it's hard to get my squirmy ribbon snake to hold still for the pictures lol
