I've been here for a while just reading stuff and now I joined, hooray :p
I have a garter snake called Kakara (in English, that would be 'a brat', I think). I've had him (or her, I don't really know so I'll just call Kakara 'him' for now :o) for over three years now and I must admit that I've really fallen for him.
I also have a dog called Ruu (like Roo in Winnie the Pooh :D).

Your guess is probably better than mine :o I got Kakara when I was 14, so I've never really found out exactly what species he is..
