Ok, so I'm in Ireland but there are no garter snakes here seriously, I feel like throwing a party every time I'm lucky enough to locate a garter snake,
I'm thinking I'll have to look elsewhere and seems how the UK is the easiest to get to and easily bring animals back, it looks like that would be a good start for now.
I'm interested in seeing if maybe with this recession smaller snakes might be more in demand.
Ok rambled a bit basically if any one in UK knows people or places that have interesting garters - by interesting I mean something other than checkers
Particularly interested in Flames , Florida blues, Plains (females), Red-sided and San Fransisco (which I know are around),
pretty much anything garter snake species
