Born 6/15/2011, This is a unique garter species found in Central America. These babies are almost exact replicas of the parents, indigoish blue/black, yellowish/white patch on the neck w/ highly keeled scales and a uniquely colored ventral (dark underbody from the head to the cloaca and from the cloaca to the tip of the tail it is an off white color). To my knowledge this is the first time this species has been bred and offered for sale here in the US. There are 4 females available for sale, buyers will have first opportunity at males next year. Adults feed aggressively on frozen thawed rodents, the babies will be feeding on feeder fish.
