I just want to give a big "Hello" to you guys! I've joined this site to increase my knowledge of garter snakes. While I do not personally own one as a pet, I have been seeing quite a few this year in my yard and am contemplating on catching and keeping one or two :).

Cheers!

hi there as well,

I am also new hereand still have not figured out how to start a new post :( , so I have been skirtin in on some good snake talk too.

but I also have a question , can spanish moss be used as a substrait for my garter baby... just got a bag of it
Iknow that pine shavings are not good for our garters.
so lmk what you think.

oh caught a big garter just out side my house sunning himself in a shrub, but had to let him go , he was to big to be in the same cage as the baby one , got musked:p peeeeuuuuu that is some smelly snake, heeeeeeheeeee heeee
bye

You can start a new thread by first going to the forum which is most appropriate to your topic (urgent care, husbandry, breeding, etc) then at the top left you will find a button named "create new thread" just click that and type away!
