I know the eye cap is from a recent shed but is the funny mark behind the eye and injury?

I don't see anything (I do see the picture). Looks like a temporal scale, right where it should be.
And are you sure it's not an upcoming shed?
I'm not sure what you mean by an injury.
Does look like a shed will be happening soon.
same here
everything looks normal, the snake is getting ready to shed. are youi referring to the dark spot? thats normal coloring....
Thanks for the info. I'm just look at them almost everyday, and started taking pictures.
So that is before a shed. I think I have seen them after a shed. They look really clean and the contrast between colors is sharper.
The eyes go cloudy and stay that way for a few days or about a week. (the cloudy is new skin forming underneath the old) Then the eyes go clear again fairly suddenly and then the shed happens within a day or two. Good idea to keep the humidity high during this time.
I don't see any injury. Looks like a healthy snake to me.
Good information, thanks
Humidity could be a problem because he lives in my yard.
I can not wait untill they come out. Won't be long.
Well then, it's no problem at all.
