    Thanks Richard.
You're welcome. It's the least I could do for what you did to help bertha, and at your own expense even. If it weren't for your help, she would likely would have continued to get worse and probably would have died. My hands were tied until you came to the rescue. She is well now and doing great. No signs of returning infection.

It's still a mystery why she got a bacterial RTI. I keep everything clean and conditions right. No other snakes, even ones that were kept in the same tank for the entire year, had any illness and they still don't.

Re: A Good Day on the Ranch.

That would really make my day. I'm trying to move away from keeping much, if any, native or WC snakes but I need to get more nice CB morphs. It's been very slow going trying to accomplish that. Not that I'm trying to make profits or anything but a pair of red sided albino hets would go a long way in helping to support my hobby once (and if) they start putting out litters with some albinos in them. Know what I mean? I would at least like to have a nice collection that supports itself, without having any WC or natives, ideally. All the snakes I've been acquiring has been with this in mind.

I still need a young adult female Iowa or nebraska (or het for both) to make a pair with Amy, and I'm still short a male albino checkered, too dangit! Through one mishap after another, I always seem to end up one snake short of a good pair for breeding morphs in the future.

Re: A Good Day on the Ranch.

Tonight was a first feed night for my little Red Sides.
They got a dish of dirt with some earthworms. It didn't take long for many of them to smell the food.
I think about half ate. Many were interested but just not ready to take a bite.
From this point on food will be available to them 24/7 as I don't want to miss a feeding opportunity windows with any of them.
This little scrub has his first full belly. This one was hand fed.
Spoil them young as I always say.
    I love baby garter snakes.

I offered these babies their first taste of Salmon today.
They accepted my offer and ate very well.
I should see some shedding in the next week or two at this rate.
