head size indicates younger snake, maybe yearling it is in a flattened defensive posture. also agree on it being an eastern

she was found last fall, w/c. I have seen 2 other adults with enlarged checkers in my neighborhood before, but not quite as huge as this girl's pattern

little trick I discovered this summer.... I put a frozen thawed pinkie in the water dish with a live fish or two.... in their feeding response they grab the pinkies and chow down. haven't had one...
