    Dekays snake

    hello i am new here and new to snake. i caught a northern brown snake in my neighbors basement on sunday

    i would like some help to take care of him

    are red wigglers bad for him? why?

    are cut up nightcrawlers okay?

    is it okay for him to be in aspen bedding? im being told on fb to get bioactive substrate

    Red wigglers(Eisenia fetida) are bad for them. They produce a toxic fluid when defending themselves. Nightcrawlers, earthworms and slugs are good foods. Aspen shavings can be ingested and cause all kinds of trouble, even death. Stay away from anything pine also.

    i found the lady on here on instagram and she told me about the reds being toxic so i got rid of them and she said to leave him alone for 3 days so im going to do that before putting him on eco earth
