We also started with corns. Right now we have 34(just hatched a clutch of 17). We also have an Iguana, Red Tail Boa, 2 Garters, a cat 2, dogs and 2 ferrets oh, and 3 anoles.
My daughter had a friend over last night who summed it up by saying, "You guys really like pets I guess."

    oh yeah
besides the 19 garters, we also have some others . . .
three kingsnakes, a hognose, three indonesian garters, a bearded dragon, a crested gecko, two plated lizards, three gerbils, a planted fish tank with assorted botias, tetras and some otos, a pink toe tarantula and two hissing cockroaches
    I think that's it
our last cat died earlier this year and we're not sure whether we want a puddle of kittens or a dog (besides all the other animals we want)
I am expecting a five more snakes this year and two of two of them are hognoses
Mikhaila wants a couple of pet rats
    so there
I think it would be really hard to just stick to one kind of animal
    but that's just me . . .

I think we have decided furry animals are off the list for a while. We enjoy the snakes so much more and are starting a saltwater tank and i would like to get geckos. Alas we are running out of room!

Shunned? I'd think not! XD I've got a good sum of cornsnakes myself, both of us do that is. Sam and me both. We've got 1.0 Charcoal, 1.1 Amel, 1.0 Strawberry Snow, 1.0 Normal, 1.0 Het butter Amel, 1.0 Het Lavender/Blood/Hypo, 0.2 Miami Het Lavender, 0.1 Abbot Okeetee, 0.1 Goldust Amber, 0.1 Striped Motley Ghost, 0.1 Anery, 0.1 Pueblan Milksnake, 0.1 Blood Het lavender/Hypo, 0.1 Butter Motley, 0.1.18 T. Radix Garter.

Though some of my corns are for sale as well as many of the T Radix's (PM me if interested ><) but the majority of them are my stock for the next few years. X3 It'll be fun to say in the least.

    Welcome to the forums. <3

Nobody will be shunned here, if I have anything to say about it. Not even if you're a corn lover. They are nice snakes, even if they seem a bit boring. I only had one for a few months, but it was pretty nice when it was actually doing something besides hiding.
