    curing caulking

i was just wondering if anyone knows how long I should wait for the caulking in the new terrarium to cure...it's been 2 days (24hrs. is usually enough) but i don't want the smell to bother "mr. pink"

Is it caulk, or silicone? If caulk the smell will have gone in 24 hours, if it's silicone it could take up to 72 hours....moderate warmth and ventilation is the trick to rapid curing.

His sense of smell is better than yours! I would wait untill you can't smell it at all! It should be gone by weekend.

Can't wait till he's in there. It's so much bigger than what he has now!! Now the trick is finding some neat things to put in to make it "fun" for him lol.
