Yes, the frog is picked up and it's legs are chopped off while the frog is still alive, and the bodies chucked into a heap to die slow.

Just as an observation guys, The snakes here favor abandoned gopher burrows, the water table in my valley is rather close to the surface, the humidity down in those gopher burrows is very high.

Garters are a very inquisitive snake, they like to explore.
Unlike a Corn, King, Milk or BP they will spend all day hiding, not a Garter, they are all over the place.

I try to respect the order of nature.

Many of the newer snake owners are far too concerned with "clean" food.
