I have been to him and saw his collection. It was amazing!
He is the breeder I got my two virgatenuis from.

He said that about putting them together.
Got it! Steve is a garter snake pioneer who is very reputable and his word is not to be taken lightly. I would just like him to expound on it.

Yeah I'd also like an explanation, I mailed him.
Maybe it's all a misunderstanding, we'll see what he has to say.
    And otherwise time will tell.

I made a purchase on what he said back then, so I''m fairly sure about what he said.

Okay guys, my mistake! No way to have any supers in a litter of albino checkereds. There would have to be a co dominate trait at play to produce supers. Just got that info hot off the press! However ,with the pastels, this hatchling could most certainly be a super pastel checkered garter. The one on top came from pastel checkered parents and doesn't resemble the parents in coloration. At the least it should be albino pastel checkered. Still a fantastic holdback for sure. The difference from albino pastel to albino checkered is apparent. Thanks , sorry for the misinformation portrayed.

i like the bottom one. the top does have a broken pattern looking at that pic. ive never worked with checkereds so couldnt tell you much lol if they are anything like radix they will change a lil in the next 2 months. theres alot of polymorphism in garters in general so everyone wont look the same all the time. alot of the work i do with radix is selecting those individuals that look different from the norm and line breed until the trait appears more frequently

Thanks. Got it. One of the reasons i want to holdback the three i thought were supers. I have never seen a albino checkered this white in all my days working with them.
