Biography:

I'm married to Chris-UK and am new to this snake milarchy. My first memory of wanting a snake was at Bristol zoo aged 9 years old when a boa was drapped around me. My mother, being scared stiff of snakes, made it abundantly clear that this was never going to happen... Then I grew up, left home, got married and batted my eyelashes at my husband until I got Binky, my Albino checkered. Now we have Binky, three regular checkered - Esk, Lightning and Bethan. That's in addition to Mortimer the black cat and many tropical fish. I am currently chasing the holy grail known as the San Fran garter.

In my spare time I bake a lot, cook a lot, read a lot. I'm particularly fond of crime and horror novels as well as kids books having spent three of my four years in bookselling as a kids bookseller. I'm currently a mature student hoping to gain a degree in English Literature and Language with a view to teach primary school age kids (i guess that's elementary school for our friends across the pond). I can be rather arty farty as well and enjoy sketching although I haven't be seriously creative for years.

I'd like to say I invented the question mark or That I'm the lesser known identical twin of Katherine Zeta Jones, but that would be a massive lie. I'm Really not that interesting.
