Thamnophis pulchrilatus
Where does it live and how can I read about it?
I am always looking for interesting new species that are not sirtalis, for legal reasons. ;)
Woah, that's awesome Jason, when did you do that?
Central Mexico... East Southeast of the tip of Baha California.
According to the book "The Garter Snakes: Evolution and Ecology" There is no sexual dimorphism in this species. And I would like to know if there is some other way to find out. Also the differences between T. Cyrtopsis collaris and T. Pulchrilatus, I'm not able to distinguish one from another by comparing pictures in this site and the google image search. Mexico-herps says this species have been confused with cytopsis cyrtopsis too, only difference is the altitude they were found. I found a "short Communication" saying T. Pulchrilatus was found in a place with Quercus as the predominant vegetation.
Webpage won't load, for me =/:confused:
