    May I ask in what region of Colorado you saw similar animals? I talked with the state about this situation and there is no way for the offspring to be sold or shipped out of state unfortunately. It is pounding ft pinky mice, so I am very optimistic about it thriving in my care.

    Thats how most Colorado radix look that ive seen. If you google Colorado garter snake really nice light ones with show up. Ive been wanting these for awhile

    As someone who lives and catches snakes in Colorado this is not at all what most radix look like. Most radix you catch here look much darker like the typical radix you see in other areas. I have ran into some light ones over the years but none that are this golden looking or light.

    If you read back, I will not likely be breeding it. Pretty unusual garter it is.
