sorry not been on in a long time, a few have started to eat and some are really greedy pigs and demolish as much food as you put in :) The "bug eyed" ones are still going strong but still haven't...

I'm not too sure why it's happened, both parents are perfect and completely unrelated so it was a real surprise, I've seen the bug eye trait in leucistic rat snakes but never in garters. I'd take...

it doesn't seem to bother them, well it hasn't yet. They can see fine and they shed fine this time, only thing is I think the eyes make the head a bit heavy so they can just flop if they try going up...
